PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s (BNM) international reserves amounted to US$103.5 billion (RM432.16 billion) as at Aug 30, 2019, a 0.4% increase from US$103.1 billion as at August 15, 2019.
“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports and is 1.1 time total short-term external debt,” BNM said in a statement today.
