BNM’s international reserves up 0.6% to US$104b as at Jun 30

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves stood at US$104.0 billion (RM441.95 billion) as at July 15, 2020, a 0.6% increase from US$103.4 billion recorded as at June 30.

The central bank stated the reserves position is sufficient to finance 8.5 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times total short-term external debt.
